What did you think of the hospital and staff? Awesome
What did you think of the surgeon? Amazing, you can barely see her scar
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? In a heartbeat
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? It was very easy to donate blood for her surgery. We kind of did it the last minute and they were very helpful.

What did you think of the hospital and staff? :: They were all great and caring people to have to deal with.
What did you think of the surgeon? :: I thought the doctor was great and explained the whole procedure before anything was done to my son.
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? :: Yes
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? :: This facility is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone.

What did you think of the hospital and staff? They were absolutely GREAT!
What did you think of the surgeon? He is wonderful!! Very compassionate
and explains everything very well. He has a certain warmth about him : )
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? Yes, we will be there
in May!!
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? You have to go with who
YOU feel is best!! Do your research and then make YOUR decision!! What's good
for someone else may not be good for you!!

What did you think of the surgeon? :: A hard-charging, aggressive surgeon who isn't afraid to take on any challenges. He is a pioneer in cutting-edge technology particularly minimally invasive open heart surgery and valve repair
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? :: I would go to no one else
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? :: Top-of-the-line care in a caring environment. This is THE place to be for cutting-edge care

What did you think of the hospital and staff? :: Children's Hosp. Boston: good hospital, frustrations dealing with the staff; NYU Medical Center: excellent hospital and staff
What did you think of the surgeon? :: Dr. delNido: very good surgeon, although our daughter suffered a post-op infection which necessitated in-hosp IV antibiotics. Dr. Colvin: superb surgeon
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? :: Children's Hosp Boston: no; NYU Medical Center: absolutely
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? :: Children's Hosp Boston is world renowned; our experiences with the hospital were dissapointing. We had many disagreements with the staff cardiologists. NYU Medical Center was top-of-the line care from nurses to surgeon.

What did you think of the surgeon? Dr. Alfieris took the time to talk to us
prior to the surgery about specific concerns and put our mind at ease on
each point. Obviously very experienced with this specific surgery

What did you think of the hospital and staff? They were wonderful. Very
informative and respectful of our needs and wishes.
What did you think of the surgeon? He was amazing. Came to speak with
immediately prior and post surgery. Made us feel like our baby was in capable,
assured hands.
Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? Absolutely. We are
lucky to have such an amazing facility and surgeon so close to home.
Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? Your child will have the
best care possible. I would trust them over and over again.
