When was the surgery done? :: Feb 8 2006

What did you think of the hospital and staff? :: The staff has issues of cohesiveness across the spectrum of specialists. My child has multiple system disorders and I always feel like I have to coordinate all of the specialists. However, the supporting staff can be very helpful and dedicated.

What did you think of the surgeon? :: Undecided currently. Major surgery has been postponed until a later date, but small inpatient procedures have been uneventful. My cardiologist is WONDERFUL. Dr. Anne Murphy. She is on the JHU.edu web under Pediatric cardiology.

Would you take your child back to this facility/surgeon? :: Yes, they are experts in their field and their level of exposure is an advantage.

Any advice for others looking at this facility/surgeon? :: Research, interview, meet and advocate. Have questions readily available upon appointment time.
